I qualified as a Mortgage Adviser and Franchise Owner at Mike Pero Mortgages in 2006. This included a comprehensive training course with an emphasis on Quality and Customer Satisfaction. I originally qualified as a Food Technologist and have a background in business ownership, management and community development. I have investment properties and connections in real estate, property development and construction. Prior to joining Mike Pero Mortgages I headed a $26 million budget for the Ministry of Social Development aimed at investing in communities and creating jobs.

On a personal front, I have five great children (adults) with my wife. I love fishing and getting out on the boat – when Auckland’s weather allows. I am very involved with the Franklin Justices of the Peace Association and believe in contributing to my community. I love cooking and spending valuable time with my family and friends.
