I was born and raised in Southland, attended Central Southland College, Lincoln University in Christchurch and Auckland and Massey Universities in Auckland.

I have travelled extensively through America, Europe and Africa before returning to NZ in the early 90’s. I have now lived here in Auckland for over 20 years with my wife Valerie and have 3 great children, who attend local primary and secondary schools.

I specialise in residential and investment property mortgages and have over 15 years experience in the finance sector including 11 years as a Mike Pero Mortgage & Insurance Franchise Owner.

I have an absolute passion for the industry and provide expert advice to all my clients whether they are first home buyers, existing home owners or those looking for property investment loans. I take the time to listen to and evaluate my client’s needs before recommending the best possible solutions.

The advantage of having an experienced negotiator broking your mortgage is that I will often be in a position to recommend alternative financing solutions which you may not have considered – these will often not be made available or offered to you when you try to deal directly with banks and other lenders.
