Having worked in the finance industry for 15 years I moved to Timaru in 2005 to establish the first Mike Pero Mortgages Franchise in South Canterbury. I consider it a privilege to have helped my clients into their first homes, to arrange top-up’s, re-fix their loans or just give them some advice on how to go about paying off their debt. I help my clients to have the right insurance in place, to make plans for their retirement and generally get their finances sorted.

My aim is to ensure that you receive the options and appropriate solutions to meet your finance needs.  This may include advice on finding the best mortgage, tips to help you pay off your mortgage faster, and insurance protection both for yourself and your assets. 

My wife Rebecca works in the office part time as well as caring for our three primary-school aged daughters.  When I’m not spending time with my family I can be found on the golf course or tending to my latest batch of home brew.  I’m also a member of the Timaru rotary club as well as being involved in many community events in the region.
