New Broker Heads Up Dunedin Office

Mike Pero Mortgages has a new face at the helm of its Dunedin office.

Mark Wilson took over the Dunedin franchise two months ago, but though he may be new in this role, he says he’s certainly no stranger to the business world in Dunedin.

“I’ve been in business for several years in Dunedin, so I already have excellent local knowledge of the market down here,” he says.

“I’ve spent a lot of my career to date dealing with people, which is something I really enjoy doing.  I’m confident this is a skill I can easily bring to the new business, as I’m very much a ‘people-person’.  I will find it very rewarding to work with clients to achieve their financial aspirations and help make their dreams come true.”

Mark says setting up the new franchise has involved hard work, but he has loved the challenge.

“It’s been very rewarding, as I have many exciting plans for the business.  I really want to expand the business beyond the services I already provide.”

Mark says he’s a true southern man, as he was born and raised in Dunedin.  He has previously worked in the travel industry, worked in a bar, been a residential landlord, owned a commercial cleaning franchise and has been the proprietor of a corner store and takeaway business.

He says his reasons for taking over the Dunedin Mike Pero Mortgages’ franchise were simple.

“I strongly believe that Mike Pero Mortgages’ products are the best in the market. I can offer clients a first-rate total package of products and services, all from the country’s largest and most trusted mortgage broking company.”
