Before becoming a Mike Pero Mortgage Adviser, I taught tertiary education courses on investment research, personal financial management, and managed my family’s investment fund for 15 years. I use this knowledge to support retirees to understand if a reverse mortgage is right for them, help first home buyers navigate the process of a property purchase, and assist investors grow their property portfolio.

I live with my wife and two teenagers, and love completing road cycling challenges. So far, I’ve cycled up Japan’s Mt Fuji in the snow, Te Mata Peak in Hawke's Bay, and Whakapapa near Taupō.
